DWP unveil online consultation on welfare to work programmes
The government is consulting on its welfare to work plans and the design of The Work Programme.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is giving providers the opportunity to comment on a number of specific Work Programme issues. DWP has from today opened an online discussion facility which will run for four weeks.
‘The Work Programme - Your Thoughts’will allow organisations or individuals to post responses to a series of questions on the site. Contributions will be moderated by DWP staff, however all appropriate content will be visible to anyone who logs into the site.
From 19 to 30 July, DWP will be inviting your comments to a number of questions that include capital raising and the payment model.
From 2 to 13 August, the discussion will move on to cover efficiencies, customers and implementation.
A brief on-line summary will be published after the ideas exchange process closes.
More information can be found in this PDF file about the programme, or on the ‘The Work Programme - Your Thoughts’ site
